Who we help

For owners with a business to run.

Just S Corps prepares S-corporation returns for relatively straightforward, owner-operated businesses—from solo owners to small teams.

Situations that commonly fit

Consultants, agencies, professional-services businesses, and other owner-operated S corporations often fit the service when their operations and records are straightforward.

  • Your business is taxed as an S corporation and needs Form 1120-S preparation.
  • You have one or a few shareholders.
  • Your income statement and balance sheet are reasonably complete.
  • You want a tax professional to handle the return and explain what is needed.

There is no automatic revenue or asset cutoff in our fit check. The details and complexity of the work matter.

Some situations need a closer look.

Multiple states, unfinished books, first-year returns, missing prior returns, ownership changes, payroll questions, and unusual transactions call for a conversation. They do not automatically put you outside the service.

Tell us which states are relevant so we can confirm support. If you are unsure whether your business is taxed as an S corporation, we can start by clarifying that.

Use the records you already maintain.

QuickBooks, Xero, Trio Ledger, spreadsheets, or bookkeeper-prepared statements may provide usable information. We review the records themselves and confirm what else is needed.

This website does not connect to your bookkeeping software. Document-sharing instructions come separately after contact.

What is outside this service?

Partnership returns and C-corporation returns are outside the currently described Just S Corps service. Personal returns, payroll administration, and bookkeeping are also separate from the standard S-corp return-preparation scope.

If your needs differ, contact Trio Tax to ask what may be available. We’ll need to confirm availability and any separate engagement.
